Laundry Room Word Art (Free Printables!)

Remember that time when I talked about how I was going to finish stuff?  Well, this laundry room art is one of those things I needed to get done.  I had the frames on hand, and I painted them yellow a few weeks ago. I had to change the orientation of one of the frames so that it will hang landscape rather than portrait.  For some reason it took me forever to actually getting around to doing this...and then I got Jim to do it. Whoops!

I wanted them to be pretty simple.  If you stand back, all you can really see is the words "clean" and "wash", which is exactly what I wanted.  I love the fact that it points to Jesus right when people walk in, since the laundry room is one of the entrances to our home. I also didn't want people to be all "Uh-oh...Ima get chased out of here with a Bible!"....cause that's not how we roll.  Everyone is welcome in our home.

Literally, all I had to do to "finish" these was trim the paper to size and  frame them.  I understand if you feel the need to judge me for the fact that the frames/art sat out on the laundry room counter for at least a week before I got around to taking 5 minutes to put them in the frames..... *waits*......

Okay.  Are you done Judgey McJudgerson?  Good.  Because I've got Free Printables.
"Create in me a clean heart, Oh God, and renew a right spirit within me."

"Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean. Wash me and I will be whiter than snow".

(Click on the words "Clean" and "Wash" in the caption to download the printable versions!)

In case you were wondering....I have a good reason for not actually hanging them yet, and it has to do with a snazzy, new mirror that is on it's way.  Once I've got that, I I'm going to bite the bullet and do a before and after post for the laundry room...get excited!

*Using these particular verses in the laundry room was inspired by Kelly at View Along the Way.  She also has some free printables, and a laundry room reveal which are both awesome!  Her word art didn't really fit my colour scheme, which is why I opted to make my own. If my word art doesn't work with your colours or style, or even if it does, you should definitely check out Kelly's too!

I'm sharing this project at: Give me the Goods and Tasteful Tuesdays

  1. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing mine too. :) I LOVE the way you did yours and totally makes sense to create them in the best color scheme for your room. The yellow frames are so happy too! :)

  2. Love the art, Beth. I could totally use those reminders when I'm doing laundry (have I mentioned that I hate laundry?!?!). Thanks for linking up to Give Me the Goods!
