Printable Babysitter Note Sheet

There's something I've been meaning to do for a while now, and the excitement of getting our whole life/house organized (NOT) inspired me to finally do it: A Babysitter Note Sheet!  Woohoo! (Don't judge me over the sort of things that make me say "Woohoo!") No more scribbling down instructions 5 minutes after we were supposed to leave and giving the whole rundown of the daily/evening routine to someone who has no hope of remembering it all....
I keep a stack of blank copies in a binder for the times when I need to update any major changes (length of naps, bottles, etc).

I keep the current schedule hanging on the fridge for whoever may need it....

Once I've updated the note sheet on the fridge, the old schedules are great to stick in the baby book so I can look back and remember what Elijah was doing at different phases!

And, for you other mommies out there who like the idea, but haven't had the time to sit down and design your own, you can download my printable babysitter note sheet here.  It is especially good if you share my affinity for all things aqua, green and white.  (I am seriously obsessed right now).

I would like to possibly blow it up to a larger size and laminate it, so that I can just fill in the blanks with a fine tip, dry erase marker.  Then I could wipe it clean and update any changes as they happen.  I've been meaning to do that for a while...So far, I've just used the boring, non-laminated ones, and updating them once a month or so. It's working just fine, but I think I'm really just looking for an excuse to laminate something....

So, how do you keep track of the ever changing "schedule" for your little ones? Do you keep it written down for babysitters?

  1. What a great idea! I love that you can keep it for their baby books too! Now if we could just figure out a way to get the grandparents to actually FOLLOW that schedule when they babysit... :)

    1. Kelly-- so true! Where did I write down that I want him to eat chocolate and cupcakes?! ;-) Just kidding....grandparents are wonderful beings who are allowed to spoil babies with chocolate and cupcakes (as long as they babysit ;-)
